Just realized how much easier it is to find a cheap hostel bed in Prague now compared to my first trip there in 2012.

Back then I'd spend hours calling places from a guidebook, but last month I booked a bed for 15 euros a night in five minutes using a hostel app on my phone. Has anyone else noticed a specific city where the booking process got way simpler?

Honestly, that 2012 struggle sounds like a lot of work for a bed. I just pick a place with decent reviews and wifi now, it's not that deep.

Right? I used to spend hours cross-checking guidebooks and weird travel forums. Now if it has a bed, a plug, and the wifi password isn't a riddle, I'm sold. The whole process got way easier once I stopped treating a weekend trip like a research project.
