TIL you can sleep in your car at most Cracker Barrel lots for free, did it 9 nights on a road trip
Honestly I used to blow like $70 a night on motels every time I drove from Ohio to see my folks in Texas. A buddy said Cracker Barrel lets RVs and cars park overnight in most lots, so I tried it on a 4 day drive down there. I called ahead to the ones in Nashville and Birmingham and both said yeah just park on the far side away from the door. Saved me around $560 over the whole trip and I just bought breakfast there each morning to be polite. Ngl the restrooms being open early was the real win. Anyone else got a chain that's cool with overnight parking, or is it hit or miss depending on the manager?
