Can we talk about the 3-in-1 screwdriver that made my brake job take 4 hours?
Last month I stripped a caliper bracket bolt using the wrong bit from one of those multi-tools, then spent 3 hours drilling it out in my driveway in Fresno. Turns out the 'universal' set has a Phillip's head that's actually a JIS, and my torque wrench was clicking at 40 ft-lbs when the spec was 35. Anyone else found hidden differences in cheap tools that turned a 30 minute fix into an all-day project?
