Hit 200 ovengloves before I finally got a good one, who else keeps score?

I've been fixing mixers and blenders on the side out of my garage here in Dayton. Last month I hit 200 replaced drive belts and that number surprised me because I never planned to count. The debate I keep having is whether that milestone proves I'm good at learning from mistakes or just stubborn at repeating them. My first dozen belts snapped because I put them on too tight, but now I torque them to spec and they last. Do you track your own repair milestones or does that just tempt fate for the next break?

Counting is just habit for me. 30 blown fuses before I stopped guessing and checked the diagram. Kept track out of spite more than curiosity. If it breaks again, at least I know I tried.
