The neighbor who watched me snap my own lug wrench in half
Last fall I was fighting a seized lug nut on my 2003 Civic, using a breaker bar with a pipe over it like an idiot. My neighbor Ron came over from his porch and just watched me for a solid minute, not saying a word. When the socket finally slipped and I smacked my knuckles on the concrete, he goes, 'That's why I tape my breaker bar to the handle.' Then he hands me his impact wrench and the nut comes off in 2 seconds. Has anyone else had a stranger save them from their own stubborn DIY pride? I still feel dumb about the pipe trick.

Did you ever see that old saying about the right tool for the job, because your neighbor basically lived it lol? I read somewhere that PB Blaster and a little heat save way more knuckles than raw muscle ever will.
