Tried to fix my dryer at 11pm and the parking lot guy at Ace Hardware saved me
My Kenmore dryer quit heating up so I ordered a $28 thermal fuse and tore into it on a Tuesday night. I put the new fuse in backwards somehow and blew it in about 10 seconds, standing there in the dark with no heat and a pile of screws. The next morning the older guy at Ace Hardware on Grand Ave took one look at my phone photo and said "that fuse doesn't care which way it faces, your vent is clogged." He was right, the whole line was packed with lint. Anyone else chase the wrong part first and have a store employee call it in one look?
