Vent: My dad swore a $12 cast iron pan outlasts any $200 nonstick, and 7 years later he's annoying and right
He gave me that pan when I moved into my first apartment in Boise in 2018 and I rolled my eyes, but that cheap hunk of iron is the only thing in my kitchen that hasn't died, peeled, or gotten replaced. Anyone else got a relative whose annoying cheap advice actually held up?
