A drop ceiling in Des Moines taught me to quit rushing my home runs
Two weeks ago I was doing a 40 drop job in a Des Moines office and rushing my home runs so bad I put three cable ties through the wrong side of a joist and had to redo half a bay. The lead guy on site, Marcus, pulled me aside and said 'speed don't pay if I gotta send you back,' so now I walk every run before I drill anything. Am I the only one who had to learn this the hard way on a commercial job?
