Talked to an old Leica tech yesterday and he flipped my script on cleaning sensors
He told me he never uses wet cleaning on a sensor, just a rocket blower and patience. Said he's done it that way for 30 years on hundreds of cameras with zero scratches. Made me rethink my whole $40 sensor swab habit.

The rocket blower method is basically all I've used for the last five or six years. Had a sensor get some stubborn dust that wouldn't blow off, so I just waited a few days and tried again, and it finally came loose. Saved me a ton of money and the anxiety of dragging a swab across the sensor.
