Vent: My $720 payment got denied at a drive-thru window

Pulled up to a taco joint off I-35 in Austin and tried to tap my phone to pay. Card declined because I'd stretched my loan payment to the 29th and the bank auto-drew it at 9am. Sat in the pickup lane with 4 cars behind me, had to ask a stranger to spot me $14 after I explained my whole car loan saga to the cashier. Anyone else have a car payment wreck a normal errand at the worst possible time?
