I finally realized my resume was backwards for 3 years

Turns out I had my entire resume formatted for what I wanted to do 5 years ago, not what I actually do now. A recruiter in Denver called me out in 15 seconds flat, said my skills section read like a job posting from 2019. I was listing old firefighting certs first instead of the emergency management stuff I've been doing daily. She asked why I buried my incident command experience on page two, and honestly I had no answer. After she redid the top half in like 10 minutes, I got 3 interviews within 2 weeks. Has anyone else had a recruiter just bluntly tell you your whole document was wrong?
