Overheard a guy at Cars and Coffee say 'detail before you drive, not after'
I was grabbing a latte at the meet last Sunday and this older dude with a clean 240Z was telling someone he never drives a dirty car to a show because the morning dew and dust bake into the paint. I used to rush out with a quick wipe down right before leaving, but that just smeared stuff around. Now I do a proper wash the night before and use a quick detailer with a microfiber only after the car cools down. Anyone else find that pre-drive detail actually saves you from buffing out water spots later?
