Warning: my $35 folding chair from the outlet mall saved my spot at the Saturday meet
I got to the coffee shop lot at 6:15 a.m. last weekend and the only open space was wedged between a wall and a guy with a wide body kit. I had a $35 folding chair from the outlet mall in the trunk, tossed it down, and sat there for two hours while people circled like sharks. A dude in a clean Civic tried to bribe me $20 to move it, and a mom in a minivan just backed over the curb next to me and gave up. Best money I have put into this hobby so far, way better than the $60 I blew on a car cover that ripped in the wind. What is your cheap gear that turned out to be worth it?
