How do you deal with spots that reject cash after hours (it's so frustrating)?

When you say "after hours," a lot of taco spots are card-only all the time now, not just late. I just always have a credit card on me... stuck in the back of my phone case. It's frustrating, but a quick google search before leaving home shows if they're cashless. That habit keeps my late-night runs from getting ruined.

Some of those late night taco trucks still run on cash only, actually. Those spots are getting harder to find, but they exist. You ever run into one when you only have a card?

Is it really that big of a deal to just keep a twenty in your wallet? I mean, we all know these cash-only spots are still out there. It feels like people are making a simple thing into a whole crisis. Just plan a little bit, it's not that hard.
