Hot take: I stopped draining my ramen noodles and now I get 2 extra meals out of one $0.50 pack
I always dumped the water after boiling my Maruchan packs, then one night last month I was too tired to bother and just drank the broth instead. Turns out that salty water is most of what fills me up, so now I use half the seasoning packet and save the rest for the next pack. One 50 cent brick of noodles plus a handful of frozen peas now stretches into two full lunches for me, which works out to about 25 cents a meal. Anyone else doing the broth thing, or am I the only one who was throwing away the best part for years?
