Worst Tuesday I've had in 8 years on the job
Drove 45 minutes to a job in Denton only to find the homeowner had stuffed a whole turkey carcass up the flue. Has anyone else dealt with people using chimneys as garbage chutes?

Whole turkey carcass up the flue" - that's wild. I guess they were trying to smoke it? (Get it? bad joke, sorry). I once found a decade worth of dryer lint shoved up a customer's chimney, which is like a fire hazard times a thousand. At least you got a story out of it, even if your Tuesday was ruined.

Decade worth of dryer lint" oh man, that gives me chills. I had a friend who cleaned a chimney that had a squirrel nest blocking the flue - same idea, basically a tinderbox waiting to happen. What worked for me when I found something wild like that was taking photos before cleaning it out, then showing the customer for proof (and a good laugh). It's scary how many people don't realize how dangerous a blocked chimney can be, especially with something as flammable as lint or a turkey carcass.
