The honey jar explosion that made me finally label everything in my fridge
Dropped a 32oz local honey jar on the bottom shelf last Tuesday, spent an hour scraping sticky glass off every leftover container, and now I use masking tape and a sharpie on literally every single thing I put in there, even the stuff I know what it is, has anyone else found that sticky disasters are the only way they actually organize?

I dropped a jar of pickled jalapenos once and the vinegar smell was stuck in my fridge for two weeks, no matter how much I scrubbed. The glass shards alone are bad enough, but honey is next level because it just keeps spreading and grabbing every crumb in there. I still find sticky spots on shelves I thought I cleaned, like the fridge is haunted by that mess. Masking tape and a sharpie is smart, but I bet you'll still find mystery containers a month from now because the tape falls off when it gets wet. Honestly, I think every kitchen has one disaster that finally forces you to be a grown up about labels.
