I finally ditched my gas mower for an electric one after 4 summers

My old gas mower was a 2008 model that started harder every year, and the smell always gave me a headache. Last Saturday I borrowed my neighbor's electric model for my half acre lot in Dayton, and I couldn't believe how quiet it was. The cordless battery handled the whole yard on one charge, and I didn't have to pull a rope 15 times. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a big drop in their fuel costs each season?
