Vent: my neighbor kept bragging about his gas mower so I let him try my $90 push reel one
Gary next door has been going on for months about how fast his gas mower cuts his lawn, so when my old reel mower finally lost a blade I almost bought a $400 gas one instead of fixing it. I ended up spending $12 on replacement blades, and when Gary tried it on his own yard he finished in the same 25 minutes with no fumes or gas run. Has anyone else switched to a reel mower and actually stuck with it, or did you go back to gas after a season?
