TIL a missed free throw with 0.4 seconds left has only been rebounded and put back for a win 3 times in NBA history
I was killing time on a stats site last week and fell into a rabbit hole about buzzer beater putbacks after a missed foul shot. Out of thousands of late game free throws, it almost never works because everyone boxes out and the clock dies before anyone can gather the ball. Does anyone know a college or high school game where that exact play actually landed?
