I thought coolant pressure was a bragging contest until I burned up a $310 insert Friday
I always ran my VMC wide open because I figured more flow meant cooler cuts, but swapping to a low-pressure flood setup on a deep pocket job in Fort Worth dropped my finish temps by 40 degrees. Anybody got a rule of thumb for matching flow to pocket depth, or do you just watch the chip color like I did after that?
