Everyone says skip the setup stuff, but a missing semicolon ate my whole Tuesday night
I keep seeing people tell new coders to just jump into projects and skip the boring setup, but I spent 3 and a half hours chasing a broken page only to find out my script tag was pointing at the wrong file path the whole time. If I had just spent 10 minutes reading the console error at the start, I would have caught it at 7pm instead of midnight. Has anyone else lost a whole evening to something that dumb, and what finally made you actually check the errors first?
