My burr grinder jammed on a Sunday and I fixed it with a chopstick and 10 minutes of panic
Dropped $18 on a bag of single origin from a roaster in Portland on Saturday and woke up Sunday to my grinder making a sad clicking noise. Took the hopper off and found a chunk of a dark roast bean wedged sideways in the burrs. Poked it loose with a wooden chopstick, vacuumed out the dust, and she spun right up, but I'm still wondering if I chipped the burr. Has anyone else had a stuck bean actually damage their grinder or am I just lucky?
