Shelled out $900 for a math prep class, still bombed the placement test

I dropped out after two semesters at Columbus State, but before that I paid $900 for an intense math refresher course to get into a better program. The teacher rushed through everything and I didn't learn a thing, still failed the test and got stuck in remedial classes. Anyone else waste cash on a prep thing that did zero for you?
