Finally passed my ADCI dive physical at 41 after failing the ear check twice
Got my commercial dive physical signed off last Tuesday at the clinic in Morgan City after two failed ear exams in March and April. The doc said my eustachian tubes were just slow to equalize from years of shallow work and told me to try the Valsalva on the surface before each descent, which honestly fixed it. I'm 41 and was worried my ticket was done, so getting the stamp felt bigger than my first offshore job. Anyone else deal with ear issues holding up their physical, and what actually worked for you?
