Surface interval habits on a 14 day Gulf rotation
Came back from a 14 day rotation out of Port Fourchon last month and realized half the crew was skipping the full surface interval between bounce dives to hit the bar early. I tried to keep the 60 minute minimum but it felt like the odd one out, especially when the tender was already packing up. Has anyone else seen this slip in the past few years or is it just my outfit?

Saw a diving medicine blog say the 60 minute rule is the bare minimum, not a goal, but @jamiew83's right about boat moves calling the shots.

Who’s actually tracking the deco obligation out there, the dive sup or the tender crew? If the tender’s already packing up, that tells me the schedule’s being driven by boat moves, not gas loading. What do the senior guys say when you bring it up, or are they the ones leading the bar stampede?
