A guy at the Louisville repair shop swore by reflowing laptop GPUs in a toaster oven, and I actually tried it on a dead Dell
He said 385 degrees for 8 minutes would fix the cold solder joints on a 2015 Dell Latitude a customer brought in with no display. I tried it on a junk board first, it booted right up, and that machine is still running 4 months later at a front desk job. Is a toaster oven actually in anyone else's workflow, or did I just get lucky on the one board?
