Vent: my $60 controller got drift 3 days after the store return window closed
Bought a new controller at the GameStop in Fayetteville on a Friday, and by Monday night my character was walking into walls on his own. The sticks had that awful drift where it just slides left forever. I called the store and the guy said the 14 day window was up, so I was stuck. Ended up ordering a hall effect stick kit for $12 and soldering it in myself, and honestly it works better than new now, but has anyone else had a controller die that fast or did I just get a bad one?
