Just realized my cousin's "flat earth" proof fell apart at a diner in Amarillo
Last week my cousin pulled out his phone at a diner in Amarillo and showed me a video claiming the horizon proves a flat earth. I asked him to test it with a $20 laser level on the patio, and the beam dropped about 6 inches over 300 feet, which he said was lens distortion. We argued for 2 hours and he finally said the level was "bought by the other side." So who's right here: is his video solid proof, or does a cheap laser level beat a YouTube clip? I want to hear from both sides on this one.
