Twin Cities build day taught me more than the 6 week course
Volunteered at a Habitat for Humanity frame-up in Minneapolis on Saturday, and one guy showed me how to nail shear walls without stripping the plywood. I came in thinking I knew studs and plates, but his toggle-bolt trick for corners saved us 2 hours. Has anyone else picked up better habits from onsite helpers than from formal training?

Wait, you mean watching YouTube doesn't make me a pro? Guess I'll stick to holding boards.
