I finally switched from gas to charcoal grilling and I don't miss it at all

I used to think charcoal was too much hassle. Lighting it, waiting for it to get hot, cleaning up ash. I stuck with gas for about 5 years. Then my buddy Pat invited me over last July 4th and he cooked burgers on a Weber kettle. The flavor was just way better. Took me 3 tries to get my own charcoal setup right but now I actually enjoy the whole process. Has anyone else made the switch and felt the same way?

Agree with @quinnm90 that flavor difference is real. Took me a couple tries too but now I wouldn't go back.
