Just saw a floor plan where the only bathroom opens directly into the kitchen
I was browsing Zillow last night for fun and stumbled on a house from the 1970s in Cleveland. The floor plan showed the single bathroom with its door right next to the stove, no hallway or buffer room at all. If someone is cooking dinner, you'd have to step around them just to use the toilet. There was also a random half wall sticking out in the middle of the living room for no reason I could figure out. Has anyone else run into a listing that made you wonder what the architect was thinking?

The 70s kitchen bathroom setup actually makes morning coffee easier for guests.

3 feet of counter space and a sink next to the toilet isn't making anyone's morning easier. You've got to step over someone washing their face just to grab a toast, or explain why you're brushing your teeth while they're trying to use the toilet. It is the worst layout for privacy and efficiency combined, and guests definitely don't appreciate that weird shared space situation.
