Talked to a realtor about why every new build has a toilet facing the door
Was at an open house last Sunday just looking around and the realtor started venting about the floor plan. She said builders do it on purpose because it makes the bathroom look bigger in the listing photo. Never thought about it that way but now I can't unsee it. Has anyone else noticed this in new construction near you?

Totally caught that too when my cousin bought a new place last month. That trick makes zero sense once you actually have to use the bathroom though (who wants to stare at a closed door while sitting there).

Lol fr! The whole "point the toilet paper roll at the wall to see if someone's been there" thing is so dumb. Like, I'm not trying to play detective when I gotta pee at 2 AM. Just give me the roll and let me handle my business. Real life ain't an interior design magazine where everything's staged for a photo shoot. Plus, who's actually checking that crap in someone else's house anyway? Nope, just flip the roll normal side out and move on.
