PSA: My missed exit led to a tiny town with amazing pie

Driving through Pennsylvania last fall, I took a wrong turn near Harrisburg. I ended up on a backroad with no GPS signal. Found this little roadside stand that sold the best apple cider donuts. The owner said they've been there for 40 years. You could smell the cinnamon from down the road. Those unplanned stops are the best part of driving around.

Got me thinking, a great pie spot isn't quite a diner though. Still, those happy accidents are the best.
