Serious question, my last HVAC job up in the mountains left me torn about travel work.
The system install was a cool challenge with great views, but the long drive and freezing temps were rough. Do you guys think traveling for special jobs is better than sticking close to home?

Does it count as a serious question when you already listed the clear pros and cons?

Yeah that "clear pros and cons" thing is everywhere. People list all the facts for a decision, like moving cities or buying a car, but still ask what they should do. The info is all there but the real question is usually about fear or wanting permission, not the facts. I see it all the time when folks are scared to pull the trigger even when the choice is obvious on paper.
