Green roofs seem awesome, but I'm picturing a mess of leaves and repairs.
Is the eco-cred worth the potential headache, or should I tell my agent to cool it with the green talk?

This reminds me of how many green ideas add hassle to daily life. Green roofs save energy and help wildlife, but yes, they demand regular cleaning and fixes. We have to decide if the long-term good is worth the short-term chores.

Wait, how much cleaning are we really talking about here? Like, is it more than cleaning gutters on a normal roof? Feels like any roof needs some work now and then, so maybe the extra hassle isn't that big a deal.

@xenagrant, regular cleaning and fixes for green roofs? That's surprising to me. I figured once they were set up, they pretty much took care of themselves. Now I'm not so sure the long-term good is worth all that trouble.
