Was dead set against wireless earbuds until my dog ate my wired ones

I always thought Bluetooth earbuds were a waste of money because of battery life and audio quality, but after my lab chewed through my third pair of $15 wired buds last month I finally caved. Picked up a cheap pair of Ankers for $40 and honestly the convenience of not having to untangle cords every morning has won me over. Anyone else get converted after holding out for years?

The battery thing is minor once you get into the habit of just dropping the case on the charger when you get home. I leave mine on the nightstand by my phone, so they get topped off while I sleep. The real surprise for me was how much better the cheaper Ankers sound now compared to what I remember from a few years ago. I was expecting that tinny, hollow sound like the old Bluetooth headsets, but these hold their own pretty well. Still not the same as a good wired set, but for listening to podcasts and music while I work, it's good enough that I don't miss the cord.

Oh man, the cord struggle is real. I went through three pairs myself before I gave in. Now I can't go back to wires even if the sound quality is a tiny bit worse. The battery life thing is annoying but charging the case once a week is way easier than fighting with knots during my commute.
