That one coworker who kept "forgetting" to log her hours

I had a lady at my old retail job who would "forget" to clock out for lunch EVERY SINGLE DAY. Then she'd complain about her paycheck being short. One day I caught her watching Netflix on her phone in the break room for 45 minutes while on the clock. When I asked about it she said "Oh I was just taking a quick mental break." Has anyone else dealt with someone who just straight up lies about their time?

Had a guy at my old grocery store job who would "forget" his timecard altogether. He'd come in, work for like two hours, then go "wait I need to punch in" and write down 7 AM when he really walked in at 9. Manager never bothered checking the cameras lol. One time I watched him spend twenty minutes talking to his mom on the phone in the freezer aisle while boxes of ice cream were melting behind him. Then he had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to split a pizza during our break. I just stared at him and walked away.

That's a rough spot to be in, watching someone game the system like that. Having to pick up her slack while she sits on her phone would drive anyone crazy. Really sucks when management doesn't catch on to the obvious stuff.
