inUsed to hate pre-wiring new builds, but a messy job changed my tune
Plastic guides are trash, but conduit isn't some magic fix either. The real problem is when people run cheap, skinny conduit that's impossible to pull new lines through later. If you're gonna do it, use the big stuff. Otherwise you're just wasting money on a fancy tube that fails when you need it. It all comes down to doing the job right the first time.

Wasn't there a news segment about this fungus last week? What are people saying on your street about it?

inI'm restoring a 1920s vanity and the old wax is rock hard. Any tips for getting it off safely?
Try a hair dryer on low heat to soften it. But honestly, is decades-old wax really that bad to leave alone?

inMy shop waste went down when I reused quenching water.
Yeah the mineral buildup thing you mentioned is real. I was reading an article last week about how even clear looking water can leave behind scale over time. It doesn't take much to start blocking those small lines. So checking the water quality like you said is probably a good habit to get into.
