I always laugh when people act like Europe shuts down after August. My hotel in Vienna last January was cheaper than a weekend at a local beach resort, and I had the entire Kunsthistorisches Museum practically to myself.

Ugh I read that book last month and had the same weird feeling. Everyone at my work was raving about it but I kept thinking about the assistant she totally screwed over to get that promotion. Like yeah she got the corner office but left a trail of broken people behind her, lol. Felt gross to cheer for that.

Yeah, @leemason, until you're basically in their personal space and they give you that 'why are you so close' look. It's like you're trying to take a photo, not start a friendship! I've had people step back because I got too into the prime lens vibe. Sometimes being part of the scene means you're just in the way. But hey, at least the shots are worth the awkwardness!
