Stumbled on a dyno sheet from my own car that blew my mind

My buddy's '16 GT was the same way... he threw a Roush CAI on there and actually lost 3 horsepower on the dyno before he got it tuned. I did the opposite with my old '14 5.0, I went with a Lund tune first and just kept the stock air box for like six months. Then later I added a JLT intake and reflashed it, and that combo picked up a solid 20 wheel horse over the stock setup. So yeah, you're right, the intake alone isn't gonna do much without the tune matching it.

I thought using thrift store curtains for fabric was a terrible idea until I tried it

Had a buddy once who stumbled onto some obscure forum about vintage radio restoration from a random YouTube comment thread. He wasn't even into radios, but he ended up finding a guy there who sold him a rare Beatles bootleg vinyl for like twenty bucks. Now he's got a whole side collection of weird music he never would've known existed.

I used to think my parents owed me help with my car payment.

Honestly, just set them up on your own account for future stuff to make it easier on everyone.

Deleted Instagram 3 days ago and already feel the difference

Not sure I'd call it "wild" exactly. It's more like just being a little absent minded, happens to everyone. The thing is, those moments don't really disappear, you just choose not to remember them because they weren't important at the time. If you really think about it later, you can usually piece back together what was happening.

TIL that silicone caulk is way harder to remove than I ever thought

Watched a YouTube guy say to use a specialized tool" - yeah that's always how it starts. What nobody talks about is that some caulks are actually different formulas, and the cheap stuff from the hardware store can be a lot softer than the pro grade stuff. I've found that hitting it with a heat gun first makes a way bigger difference than the tool you use, especially in bathrooms where the moisture has bonded everything together. Also @laurar38 is right about the tile damage, but another angle is that if you spray some rubbing alcohol on the caulk before scraping, it can soften the edges without melting anything. Just gotta let it sit for a minute first.
