Hit 250 abandoned projects in my spreadsheet, that number shook me
I was going through my old project files from 2018 to now, just cleaning out the hard drive in my apartment near Austin. Counting them all, I landed on 250 separate attempts that never got finished, from a board game I designed to a robot arm that never moved. The kicker is 87 of those were ideas I never even told anyone about, so the actual failure count is way higher. Does anyone else keep a tally like this, or am I just turning my hobby into a tax audit?

Counting them at all is the real waste, 250 half-starts means you spent that much time making lists instead of pushing one thing to the end. Those 87 secret ones are just proof you knew they wouldn't work, so why give them shelf space in your head too.
