Please tell me I'm not the only one who abandoned a nearly-finished woodworking project because of a single mistake
I spent 3 months building a walnut coffee table, got to the final sanding step, and then gouged the top with my orbital sander on a bad angle. Now it's sitting in my garage covered in dust for 6 weeks while I can't look at it. Has anyone else just walked away from something 90% done because one screw up killed your motivation?

Oh man, I feel your pain. I once built a bookshelf, got to the final coat of poly, and then my cat decided it was the perfect place to take a flying leap.
