Shed roof collapsed under snow load last Tuesday, lost all my tools

We got 18 inches over two days here in upstate New York, and my backyard shed just gave up underneath it. I had been putting off replacing that old plywood roof for about three years now, kept thinking I'd get to it in the spring. Well, spring came early in a bad way. I lost my mower, a compound miter saw I inherited from my dad, and about $400 worth of contractor bags and paint that got soaked. Has anyone else had a structure fail on them because they kept kicking the project down the road? I need to figure out if I rebuild it myself or just buy a premade kit.

You ever try to kick a job down the road and have it kick back twice as hard?

3 times at the old warehouse job. I put off restocking the back shelves for 2 weeks and by the end every pallet was stacked so high I had to use a ladder to reach the top boxes. Honestly sometimes that extra time just gives the mess a chance to get way bigger than it ever needed to be.
