The empty lot behind my apartment flipped my whole view on garage sales
I kept walking past this weedy lot on 5th Street for like 2 years, always saw busted furniture and old TVs nobody wanted. Then last month a guy set up tables with motors, gears, and half-built robot arms, all tagged with notes on what failed and why. He told me he brings 3 unfinished projects every Saturday to trade parts and ideas, not to sell stuff. It hit me that I was sitting on 4 half-done PC builds in my closet just waiting for the perfect part that never comes. Anyone else found a local spot that turns abandoned stuff into a support group without calling it that?
