PSA: I swore off silicone caulk in my shower for years, then a $7 tube proved me wrong
I always figured silicone was a nightmare to work with after a messy job in my first house near Eubank, so I stuck with latex and re-did the tub every 8 months or so. Finally tried a silicone II tube with a $3 smoothing tool and it went on clean in 20 minutes, so now I'm wondering if anyone else has a trick for keeping the bead from looking jagged around the drain.
