That 30 year old roofer was right about my flat roof.
He told me to stop patching the blisters and just do a full TPO overlay, but I thought I knew better. Spent $200 on patch kits over 6 months and the leak just moved. Anyone else learn the hard way that cheap fixes on flat roofs never last here in ABQ?

Bought a used hot tub on a flat patio once and learned the same way.

Found out the hard way that "level" is more of a suggestion than a rule when it comes to patios. At least you got a good story out of it and probably a weird tan line from the uneven water.
