My brother's ultimatum about my friend group was actually right

Tbh my younger brother told me two years ago that I kept hanging out with the same three guys from college because it was easy, not because we had anything in common anymore. I got defensive and told him he didn't get it, but then last spring we planned a weekend trip to Portland and spent the whole time on our phones or arguing about where to eat. After that I tried reaching out to a coworker I'd been friendly with, and honestly it turned out my brother saw something I couldn't. Has anyone else had a sibling call out their friendship patterns and end up being dead on?
