Shoutout to that study about how many friends people actually have

Read a thing from some university saying the average adult has only 3 close friends. That seems way too low to me, honestly. How many people do you actually count as a real friend?

Yeah that number feels kinda sad. I've got maybe four or five people I'd drop everything for, and who would do the same. Quality over quantity for sure, but three still seems low. Makes you wonder how they even measure that stuff.
