Finally paid off my credit card debt after 3 years in Austin

It was only $4,200 but it hung over me like a cloud since I moved here. Anyone else feel weirdly empty after hitting a big financial goal you worked toward forever?

Used to think hitting a goal like that would feel like a huge party in my head. But when I paid off my car loan last year it was just... quiet. Realized I spent so long focused on the number that I forgot to celebrate the moment. Now I make myself do something small but real when I hit a milestone, even if it's just grabbing a nice dinner. Debt payoff is a grind but the emptiness means you already did the hard mental work.

Nah, that quiet feeling just means you need a bigger goal to chase next.
